Late Diagnosed Adults

Total clarity for undiagnosed ADHD in Adults and late diagnosed Autism

You’ve built a life. A very successful one. A career. A business. A family. Responsibilities.

From the outside, you’ve got everything covered and you rarely drop the ball. Your friends envy everything you’ve achieved.

But privately? You’re tired. You’ve spent years compensating. Overworking. Masking.

You’ve told yourself to try harder. Be more disciplined. Be more organised.

There’s a lot of high functioning ADHD in adults…

The Entrepeneur

Juggling ten ideas at once – brilliant at vision, but drowning in admin.

Nothing stops the constant chatter in your brain. You can hyperfocus on that new business idea, but can’t open that email about your tax return.

The over-stimulated woman

Navigating hormonal shifts and suddenly your focus, memory and emotional regulation feel different.

There’s always somebody wanting something from you ALL the time and you don’t know how to be a mother, wife, daughter, employee and friend when all you want to do is lie in bed all day.

The exhausted parent

Who’s battled to get their child diagnosed and then suddenly something clicked.

The masking. The burnout. The inability to stay focused at school. The chatter in the brain – NOW it all makes sense.

This isn’t a trend.

ADHD in successful professionals is rife. There’s workplaces full of people masking autism as adults. There’s a growing body of evidence that shows ADHD in women later in life is on the rise.

We aren’t ‘all a bit ADHD.’
Not everyone is ‘on the spectrum.’

It isn’t weakness.
And it isn’t “just stress” or “just hormones.”

ADHD & Autism: So hidden nobody spotted it

Historically, ADHD and autism were identified in children who were disruptive – not in intelligent, driven, or high achieving adults.

You may have achieved great things in your work, professional and family life – but it’s still very possible to have ADHD or Autism.

Nobody picked it up at school. Your parents didn’t realise when you were a child. You did an incredible job at masking your symptoms and struggling through situations that you found difficult.

But as an adult, life feels hard.

Hyperfocus

It’s a business built through hyperfocus.

Anxiety

Anxiety used as a productivity tool.

MASKING

A mask of social confusion and sensory overwhelm which exhausts you.

Struggling at work with ADHD.

The executive dysfunction as an adult.

Relationship difficulties due to ADHD or Autism.

Hormonal shifts can amplify attention difficulties, emotional reactivity, and overwhelm – often triggering the need for an adult ADHD assessment.

Similarly, adults exploring adult autism diagnosis often describe decades of masking – blending in, performing competence, and paying the price in exhaustion.

Diagnosis later in life does not mean you failed. It just means you’re exhausted with trying and pretending everything is fine, but in reality you’re experiencing executive dysfunction.
